Summary

The UnknownWorld is reeling from change.

Bethany Anne has started to make a difference in the first week of being awake. Now, America has been losing good men since their teams don't have a vampire to help them.

Frank is hoping Bethany Anne can, and will, help.

Further, the American Pack Council is having internal problems with their own young-and-dumb weres who want to ignore Michael's strictures. With no one seeing Michael, the fear of the Boogeyman is starting to recede.

That's fine with Bethany Anne, it means she will personally deliver the message there is a new vampire in town.

Immediately following the story of Bethany Anne from Death Becomes Her, Queen Bitch rides a rollercoaster of action with a heavy dose of creative cussing. Bethany Anne starts to get a team in place to help her affect change.

Because, whether the UnknownWorld wants it or not, change is coming.

Queen of Queens

Love this new Queen, her sense of fair play is fantastic. She cares, she hurts for her people. I wish she was real.

This is a really fun story

I really enjoy this story. I think this book is even more exciting than the first one and Emily Beresford is still doing an excelent job reading it.

Headed For Book 3!!!

Michael Anderle and Emily Beresford are CHUNKING OUT THE BOOKS! As I've already said, It looks like one book about every 25 days on average!!! LOVE the 'Afterwords' by Emily AND Michael, explaining how books are written, costs involved, how they are narrated, how long it takes after Emily uploads them to Audible after using their compression algorithm, and SO MUCH MORE! Right down to 'How much different types of Cover Art Costs' And 'How much different types of Proof-Reading Costs'! THAT information, collected from each of the Audio-Book Afterwords, could be a book all of it's own!

Michael FREELY admits in his Afterword(s) in each book that he writes FAST, and he writes PURE PULP! It's not 'Incredibly Deep' or 'Mind Bending', but it keeps you listening,Book After Book After Book... so: IT WORKS!

Call it Pulp, or 'Wishful thinking', or 'Unrealistic', or Whatever, Again: IT WORKS!

Each book in the Series gets better, and before you've finished Book One, you get sucked in and keep on 'Grabbing the next book'... That's what PROVES a Series GOOD! 'I'm willing to spend my hard earned money on it'! That's not 'Words', that's 'DEEDS'! If I'm spending my money on the books, then I think they're worth buying!
You know a series HAS YOU when you keep checking back to see if the next book is available yet! If I'm 'MAKING AN EFFORT' to spend MY money on a product, Then it's a product I WANT!
ALREADY bought all 8 books available at this time on Audible, and will be grabbing book 9 AS SOON as it comes out!

(STILL wish I could 'Tag' an Author or Narrator I like on Audible, and be notified when a new book is released by that Author or Narrator, so I don't miss a new book released by an Author that hasn't released a new book in a while.. NOT a lot of coding required to add THAT feature to a website... Hint, Hint, Hint ;)

Juvenile, cliche, and uninspired.

The basic concept could work if the plot and characters were developed further. It as though every teenage boy’s dreams were translated to words. Uninspired fighting that wins every time; have the female lead a knockout (a virus that makes a fighters boobs big?) juvenile, add a liberal amount of clichéd swearing.
Perhaps the vamp (yep) uses pheromones to instil complete loyalty of hardened US soldiers in a mere 24 hours. Add more character development instead of trite details about shoes, bathroom breaks or pizza.
The reader’s voices were a bit forced, and she used the same rhythm throughout, but overall she did ok.

TOO SHORT TO BE SO EXPENSIVE!!!

While this series so far along with each book is decent and the narrator is exceptional the price for the audiobook alone is either one credit or $7.49 US Dollars if you also have the Kindle book version. These audiobooks are between 4 to 6 hours in length. A couple are even shorter than 4 hours! One credit at its cheapest cost $11.35 US Dollars. So if you spend a credit on this book, you just paid at minimum, a 5.00 over charge unless you have the book borrowed for free thru Kindle Unlimited. That is the cheapest way ive found to get audiobooks on Audible. Borrow a book on Kindle and then (if available) purchase the audiobook at a highly reduced price (usually $7.49 or less) after the Kindle version downloads. If you have an iPhone the price for a SINGLE friggin credit on Audible is $15.99 US Dollars!!!! WTF Apple??? I despise Mac & Apple products, customer service, and how the see the people that keep them in business! On any other device credits are cheaper by about $2.00. Apple gets a certain percentage of EVERY SINGLE purchase using the Amazon Audible app on any iPhone!!! GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY APPLE CORP!!! So anyways, books good, vampire, supernatural creature slaying beginnings. They slowly introduce an alien, a coming outer space intergalactic war agenda that leads to space opera style storyline. Im on book 5 and so far i am not disgusted or disheartened by this. I do love a good space opera (just never read one with vampire, werewolf beginnings). Anderle delivers a fun and quick story full action, hilarious characters, vengeance and justice fueled alternative worlds. When compared to other fantasy/out of this world plots, i give it 4 stars. The narrator, Emily Beresford performs OUTSTANDINGLY!!! She truly loses herself in this series and brings EACH character to life. She makes every character unique and almost addictive. Good books with high price

Fun and Visceral

I really enjoyed the first two books in the last two days, just can't seem to get enough. The characters manage to be both badass and humanly vulnerable. Totally loved the scene where Bethany Ann meets QTB. The creative use of "colorful language" reminds me of one of my favorite youtubers and is absolutely hilarious, especially when the characters try to one up each other. I always compare narrators to my favorite, Scott Brick. While Emily is no Scott, that's okay. We already have one of him anyways. Emily brings the characters to life through her narration, and has a voice that is a pleasure to listen to. I now have a new favorite. Michael is also good at keeping you guessing. I really wasn't expecting what happened with Steven, and what I got was so much better. I have every intention of finishing this series, even if my random laughter gets me weird looks from my coworkers.

Here come the Bitches!

BA heads to the swamp and comes out with four bitches who will give their lives for her. She shows she is not one to sit back, she is the point of the sword. Things are moving fast, she has a great team in place, finds a base of operations, and has started drawing in air support, all while kicking butt! Great read!!
