I enjoy a lot royal's stories, and one written by Ali Lyda and Aiden Bates was surely a must for me. The book has wonderful characters, a complex plot, with action and danger and a more dangerous relationship of all: a prince and his bodyguard. I loved all the banter and the romance parts and the interesting situations happening throughout the story. Mr Jay caught perfectly the essence of the story, from the way the characters interact to the intense emotional parts, Great performance, skillfully managed by a very talented actor. A great narration!

I liked this book. not as many intense action scenes like the first but thst wouldn't have felt right in this scenario. the ending was good but I was like but.... which I know is building up to something for the end of the series would be my guess.

THERE IS NO CLIFFHANGER and can definitely be read as a standalone

Hot bodyguard and a Prince

A good read/listen. Hot, sexy new bodyguard Ajax has a new job protecting what he believes to be a spoilt Prince from Cosandria.

Prince Ryden isn't the spoilt Prince people think he is, and he works when he can at a bookshop in America where he also attends college.

Prince Ryden is secretly gay, sure that his parents would never understand as they keep telling him he needs to marry and produce an heir.

This book is a fun story for the most part, but we do have a kidnapping, shooting, but the main bit is we do have a HEA.

Good clear narration, I had to speed up. I listened at 1.25 speed on audible.

I could understand the attraction that the MC's had for one another, but I didn't think that Ajax would have been so naive and immature. I suppose that's what kept them together in the end.

It was worth the listen, because I did enjoy the story, but this wasn't my favorite from this author.
