Summary

Tex gave everything he had to his country and his SEAL teammates. When an IED took away part of his leg, and his career, he devoted himself to his country and friends from behind his computer. He's always been the man that can find anyone, that uses his computer skills, legal and illegal, to keep people safe and to put the bad guys behind bars.

But behind a computer is a lonely place to be. While he might put on a good front, Tex can't help but feel he's missing out when he sees how happy his friends are. But when the woman he's been talking to online for the last six months suddenly disappears without a word, Tex knows it's time to step up and use his skills for himself this time.

Protecting Melody is the seventh book in the SEAL of Protection series. It can be heard as a standalone, but it's recommended you hear the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

Protecting melody

I liked this book very much. I liked Melody. I loved baby her dog very much. Susan dedicated quite a lot of her words in the story to the dogs life in the story. Another Great book with a dog in the book. I liked Ted very much. 💘 the last 4 chapters and reading about the make scenes.

Same same

The first four books in the series are very good. A compilation of action and romance after that it just turned into a smutty romance which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for but I like the combination better I’ve stopped reading the series.

Hate the graphic sex

I don’t like graphic sex in my romantic suspense and yes, there are tons of authors who don’t use graphic sex in their books: Irene Hannon, Lynette Eason, and Dee Henderson just to Name a few. Plus these books are much better written!

Excellent series

Stella Bloom is one of my favorite narrators so that was icing on this cake of goodness. This series is well written, the characters are strong and the stories deep. I just wish I knew how Benny got his nickname.

Not up to Ms Harber standards

The story isn’t good or bad - it just is. More like a hallmark mystery movie. Disappointing, even I figured out who the stalker was - and the prologue of this story was completely maddening.

Recommended

It is so good that Tex has finally gotten his HEA. Melody is a kind, generous woman who loves deeply. She is honest and up front when asked how she is doing and doesn't even try to be stoic. I loved how she reacted to her friend when a disparaging remark was made about Tex's leg.

I did have a hard time listening to the climax. The negative bullying and just plain crap, it was just to much for me. Of course the stalker wouldn't be polite but well, that's on me.

With this story, all the main characters of the SEAL team are paired off and a handful married. I'm said to let them all pretty much go. There are a couple other stories so we'll see.

Stella Bloom did an outstanding job here as n d.c. through the series, I could see a marked improvement over all.

Good story with a very weak ending!!!!!!

this book would have been good but the ending was weak and made a brave Seal look impotent at the end. Will send back!!!

Loved the story.

Ms. Stoker's alpha Seals are today's Knights in shining armor. I love that Tex gets his woman as well. Great story. Stella Bloom does an amazing job on her performance. And a happy ending. Loved it.

Protecting Melody (SEAL of Protection #7)

Protecting Melody is the 7th book in the Seal of Protection series. We've met Tex in each of the previous books. He's had a hand in helping to find and save each of the girls from the SEAL team and now he's on the search for Melody. He met Melody online 6 months ago, they have built a close relationship and are able to trust in each other. But suddenly Melody stops logging in, and then deletes her account and Tex knows that the time to get to know each other is over, if he wants to chance to ever get to know her in real life its time to take action.

These characters are so great, and the series has a way of giving you just enough action/adventure without making it seem over-the-top and out of the realm of possibility.

The Audio by Stella Bloom as always was amazing. Her performance and characters are spot on.
