I learnt quickly through book one that this is not just an erotica book. The complexity and depth of these characters, and their stories have brought me to laughter, heat, and heartbreak. So well written, Dallas is able to highlight the emotions each character experiences, while not overwhelming the listener/reader. Scarlet Rose beautifully narrates and highlights those nuances in a spectacular way, completely immersing the listener into Scottish sapphic love, pain and family. I have only ever sobbed with one other book. This one broke me, and healed me again. What a journey TJ Dallas took me on,

Omg! This was amazing. I previously read this book and absolutely loved it, but actually listening to the story gave me a whole new level of enjoyment. In this book we continue to follow the lives of the Seven Deadly Sins and the troubles they encounter and overcome. This story was and emotional rollercoaster as well as being sizzling hot. To be honest it took me a couple of chapters to get used to the Scottish narration (even though I’m Scottish lol). It’s probably because I’m so used to listening to US narrators. Don’t let that put you off listening though…there’s nothing better than a sexy Scottish accent narrating a phenomenal story with many delicious erotic scenes.

I'm half way through book 2 of this trilogy and the story so far is compelling and imaginative which makes them very enjoyable. The narrators Scottish accent certainly adds to the allure of the story. My only issue is that the extent of the seven deadly sins level of depravity in their own sin. They are supposed to be the extreme of the particular sin. Lust, for example, only described the arse as the 'other hole' until half way through book two. There has been very little anal play, no fisting, bdsm etc. Maybe there will be more in the second half of book two and book three, we will see.
