4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 2🌶️🌶️. Wooohh I didn’t realise going into this that this would be the most delicious slow burn. So much tension between Avalon and Dean so when… it happens it EXPLODES! I listened to the audiobook, and fair warning there is ALOT of swearing in this book. I usually really don’t like “bully” romances. There’s just something about it that I hate but this one was different. It’s set at East Point High which is essentially a private university owned by some mafia type rich families, to which dean is one of the heirs and one of the “sick boys”. They recruit Avalon to it, who’s had a rough start in life, for mysterious reasons. They’re very controlling, and I suppose they do bully her a bit but it’s not the usual. Which is why I liked it! And… did I mention Dean is Pierced?!? 😏

Avalon is such a hardcore FMC she gives as good as she gets which is so great! The ending was so messed up and ends on such a cliffhanger. Trigger warning for non consensual sex. Not by our MMC. I’m intrigued as to where the story could head next.
