This book has so many different genres throughout. It starts as a bully romance then becomes an abuse survivor, then the mafia!!! There’s so many layers, I was hooked. An amazing performance.

My feelings are all over the place after this book I cried a lot in the last half of the book and I was angry as well.. Tess got a bad rap and I listened to the books before this duet. Tess was a lonely girl who just wanted to be loved found her one in Ford but it turns out that he becomes her stepbrother and her father wants them broken up. To save him she does the right thing but then he hates her for saving his life cue my anger at Ford. Ford I feel for at first but when he does not forgive Tess and continues to push her away and has all her friend or so called friend turn on her I wonder how could this girl continue to love him. With friends like these who needs enemies my goodness how will Ford and Tessa find their way back together.
