Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would reduce it by about 4 hours, it was far too long and drawn out for me. Also, I would make the central character Jenner man up a bit, he is such a wet lettuce. I'm guessing he is meant to be sensitive but he comes across as a big wimp!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I liked the two Japanese characters, they were a welcome diversion. I found the ending tediously drawn out after an already overlong build up. It was not tense, just irritating, due to the ineptness of Jenner

Did John Chancer do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

Initially I thought I would not be able to listen to the book because of his style of narration. I think it is because he sounded like the Hooded claw in the 70's cartoon and I expected him to shout 'I'll get you Penelope Pitstop' at any time! To be fair I think he improved significantly throughout the story and did some good characterisation.

Could you see Precious Blood being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

I guess it could be a TV movie with a sensitive Steven Seagal opposite a petulant Lindsay Lohan playing the 'heroine'!

I loved this book. A journey into a nightmare !! Well thought out, intelligently written.I loved the slightly flawed hero. Cant wait for the next one . Recommended

My first read of this author and well worth it. An imaginative novel with action throughout. I'll be interested to read more of his work.
