Samantha’s narration was so calming, literally like listening to a warm hug.
Each character had a slightly different voice so I could keep up with the conversations.
Her narration was really clear and even at my usual 1.2 speed sounded great and not at all robotic like some narrators can be.
Also worth a mention that the male voices didn’t get in my nerves so that’s an added bonus!
Book review:
I loveddd this book, such a cosy fantasy mystery, whitty too. I loved BeeGee and all his sass.
I did however find the general story predictable but it was made up for in between , aka how the murder was solved!
Definitely will be listening to the next book in the series and more by the author!
Recommend to fans of cute small fantasy town books!

I utterly adored this book and all the characters. I feel like the mystery was well written keeping it a secret for most of the book, and afterwards you can see even more clues. The characters are a lovely mix of fun and kooky , and it's got a cat ! I mean honestly any book with a talking cat is already starting out well! I feel like this series added a lot of depth to the characters ,and for those listening the narrator is awesome and makes the whole thing go so quickly!
The characters were a fantastic cast and the narrator had a lovely 😍 voice!
