I was wondering how the 2 of them would finally get together, and this did not disappoint. we get a ton of tension in this slow burn, small town, friends-to-lovers, grumpy-sunshine, sport romance. There is some mild family drama too, but their relationship is the focus here.

This is a childhood friends to lovers with a bit of an age gap. Sloan has been in love with Jasper for the majority of her life and Jasper finally decides to act on his feelings when Sloan is to marry out of convenience. I always enjoys a good impromptu road trip which leads to close proximity but I have to say the story felt a bit drawn out at some points. Regardless I still really enjoyed Sloan and Jasper's story and Harvey had some great dialogue. Narration was amazing as always.

I absolutely adored Sloane and Jasper's story, my favorite one by far. Childhood friends to lovers who have been pining over each other for 18 fricking years! Need I say more?!🫠😌

It was nice listening during driving or cleaning house 😊 It is dual narration and both of them were perfect. The story is so predictable that nothing suprised me, but overall it was nice easy read and I am going to listen the forth book in series as well.
