Summary
Mary Jane, a struggling comedienne, stumbled into the wrong club at the wrong time. She didn't notice the gangster gripping the gun and the two scary men on his sides. She just jumped on the stage, tested the microphone, and went into her routine. And that's where things got interesting.
Noah was the gangster that gripped the gun. The beast of Din City. The boss of the streets. The one who ruled them all from the North to the South. Not liking to murder women, he'd now been thrown into an uncomfortable situation. She'd accidentally become a witness to something she shouldn't have seen. She'd now become a problem.
Yet, their gazes met, and their hearts faltered, thump, thumping in their chest like a tune beat out from bullets slicing through the air and bodies crashing to the ground. Clever dark romance
More than a typical love affair, this is an IR story with elements of the supernatural.
The characters are well developed with believable traits and back stories.
The quotes at the start of each paragraph demonstrates the author’s research and sets the stage beautifully.
Genuinely one of the best books in the genre.
The 2 narrators are excellent.

It’s ok but he walks away from the power
It’s ok but he’s giving up his dangerous life for a college girl which is kinda boring the excitement starts to end without the gangster life and that is what opened my ears to hear not some boring this my life I’m a dangerous criminal not I’m want to be a good boy with a 9-5 Hell No that’s boring anyways if you don’t mind the bad becoming good plot then go for it.
