Phrases were indeed easy to learn, lessons are conveniently short and after a week of listening I was really able to get by in Portugal. I hope there will be a follow-up course. Being a complete beginner I enjoyed this audiobook very much.

I have tried a number of language learning audio courses, but I can honestly say that I found the Collins Easy Learnng Portuguese to be well structured. Offering you loads of opportunity to listen and repeat. Covers a wide range of topics from the basics of where is, how are you to ordering food and drinks. I am looking forward to a holiday in Portugal where I feel confident that I can put what I've learnt from this to use.
