Like many girls, I too used to dream of fairytales.

This was not what I was expecting with this book but I'm not mad.
A loose retelling of Snow White, this is a dark RH with triggers for some so beware.
I enjoyed the suspense and mystery in this story. The steam was next level with 7 men and one FMC. It also contains multiple MM scenes if that's your jam.
I liked Adeline's strength. Everything she goes through and not breaking is amazing.
This was my first listen/read by Nikita and it won't be my last. I look forward to checking out more of her stories.

This is a retelling of Snow White which includes 7 love interests. It's quite dark and the steamy scenes are just fine but I feel like something was missing. But it was a good listen and I'm glad I read it.

Loved this take on the fairytale Snow White I enjoyed every aspect of this book. Adeline was a compelling character that got stronger as the book went along. The seven guys whom fell for her had compelling and harrowing stories. This was my first book by this author and I do not think it will be my last looking forward to reading more stories by her.

Poisoned Throne by Nikita is a dark reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Ash Kingsley and Benjamin Sands.

This is the first book of Nikita's that I have read it and won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adelaide, Maxcen, Carter, Blaze, Cage, Declan, Silas, and Daemon.

I really enjoyed that we got Adelaide, Maxcen, Carter, Blaze, Cage, Declan, Silas, Daemon, and Ravanna's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I originally read the book when it was first released and was so excited when I saw that it was coming to audio. Ash and Benjamin did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, reverse harem romance, forbidden romance, or modern-day fairytale retellings.
