About this listen

Being a trailblazer is tough, especially when you're talking about something as big as the next stage of human evolution. Every answer brings a ton of new questions. But as one of the first to chart this course, Raven keeps shouldering that responsibility, pushing forward and blazing a trail for himself and his buddies.

New challenges. Fresh discoveries. Exciting opportunities. Every step he takes adds to his wealth of experience, building up his inner strength. That's the kind of strength he needs to crack the System's secrets wide open. One day, he'll be so powerful that any mystery or confusion will crumble with just a look from him. But until then, he's going all out to make sure those who've got his back don't get lost in the unknown.

I'm loving the overall storyline it's got many great twists and turns, and never fails to have me hanging on the edge of my seat. I simply can't get enough.
I feel as though the pace a quickened a little more recently, as much as I prefer the steady pace we have had up until now I feel it served to add to the building tension in the story.

personally I would love to have some more slower paced scenes, more of his floor exploration and dungeon clearing.
I would also love to see him play for a while with some other players who he is friendly with. kingmaker and the like, maybe completing a quest chain with them. it would be great to see them work together and to see their reactions first hand to ravens unique way of finding and solving quests & being rewarded for it.

This is a really interesting series which at the beginning, slowly let on to a underlying truth. The problem I foresee is there may be too many plot forks. I've really enjoyed this series so far but I do worry that the author will either be forced to bring it to an anticlimactic end or keep it going for so long the readers lose interest. For the moment though I am seriously looking forward to the tenth book which I hope answers more of Wills questions. I'm just glad I only have to wait two weeks for number 10.

Endless skills or endless sequels
