I had expected it to be an average live story, boy meets girl, falls in love etc.
The author very sensitively and respectfully covered the emotional and physical challenges of a sexual assault but also captures how such trauma can be treated with the right therapy and having a string network of friends, family and partner.
I was disappointed that it ended as I had enjoyed getting to know the characters - maybe a second book???
