I really enjoyed this story. A relatively gentle murder mystery, it had excellent moments of humour and well sketched characters.

Not my usual Murder/mystery setting , but it was so full of interesting characters plus the crime itself that I was hooked . Hoping there will be more on audible …..only seems to be on more at the moment .

I know nothing of the south so dont know if the characters are truly represented, but I enjoyed them and the plot and also recommend the second book. Nothing tense - but it does make me want to sit down and enjoy a cocktail and visit this place.
