Plane Crashes is an interesting listen. It details the events that led up to ten of the worst plane crashes. Using National Transportation Safety Board and other investigations, flight recorders and airline records, the root causes behind these crashes is analyzed, whether they were maintenance, mechanical, operator error, or communications failures. While listening, I kept 'hoping' they would pull through - but alas, there are no happy endings in these true stories.

The mandates and procedural changes produced from the crash results are also discussed. So, there is some beneficial information from the lessons learned from these tragedies.

I would not recommend listening to this one as you head to the airport for your next flight :-O

I’ve always been curious about plane crashes, especially the ones that remain a mystery. Found these stories really interesting. The book delves into some of the worst airline disasters in our history, exploring what happened and what it taught us about flight safety standards and how we have improved.

What I loved about this book is how the writer explored each accident and showed us what examples were gained. There were crashes I had never known about, and I didn't have the foggiest idea about how these accidents were all researched to have the option to assemble the pieces back to figure out what occurred and what caused it. Every one of the accidents had its own story to share, and they might have been from awful climate, human blunder, or mechanical disappointments. Now, I understand the reason behind safety in the aircraft. This is an extraordinary book for anyone who loves learning irregular realities or simply cherishes flight.

Great value!

I am so glad that this book was written. Anytime tragedy can be turned into something positive at least makes something good come out of the experience. This book was well written and very intriguing.
