Lesson Learned
I am so glad that this book was written. Anytime tragedy can be turned into something positive at least makes something good come out of the experience. This book was well written and very intriguing.

Fascinating
This book provides a detailed account of each crash, including the events leading up to it, the causes of the crash, and the lessons that were learned. A must listen!
"Plane Crashes The 10 Deadliest Air Disasters and the Lessons We Learned to Improve Aviation Safety" By: Oliver Elliott: This audiobook delves into factual reports and in-depth analysis of some of the deadliest aviation catastrophes. It's a pretty fascinating read. For a layperson like me, the author definitely did much study before delivering the material in a straightforward and understandable manner. After finishing this audiobook, I felt like I had learned a lot and was much more eager to study more. I whole-heartidly recommend this!

Over my lifetime, I have heard of some of these plane crashes, yet you never truly get the full story from the news, an eye-opener. Oliver has done his research to compile such a book. Having a mechanical background, I was intrigued by the chapter on design flaws, yet my heart goes out to the crews and families of these travesties.

interesting analysis of plane crashes
Plane Crashes is an interesting listen. It details the events that led up to ten of the worst plane crashes. Using National Transportation Safety Board and other investigations, flight recorders and airline records, the root causes behind these crashes is analyzed, whether they were maintenance, mechanical, operator error, or communications failures. While listening, I kept 'hoping' they would pull through - but alas, there are no happy endings in these true stories.
The mandates and procedural changes produced from the crash results are also discussed. So, there is some beneficial information from the lessons learned from these tragedies.
I would not recommend listening to this one as you head to the airport for your next flight :-O

Great Gift
I chose this book as a gift for my son. He is not an avid reader so I needed to consider unique books and this fit the bill! These 10 stories are interesting and heartbreaking! My son loved reading this book and so did I.

Interesting and Informational!
This is a really interesting audiobook on some of the worst plane crashes, and it dives into factual accounts and analysis of exactly what happened. The author delivered the information, which is clearly will researched, in an easy enough to understand wayfor a lay person like myself. I definitely came away from listening to this audiobook having learned a lot and much more curious to learn more. I highly recommend.
