Being human, my life at Silver Oaks isn't quite a fairytale. This is a school for fae refugees, and I'm not one. Instead, I'm going to be a knight in shining armor—wielding the one thing none of them want to be around: iron.

I'm just not very good at being a hero. My magic is dangerous to the fae. My cool new powers include doing all the things they can't, and yet somehow I'm supposed to be their champion? Sadly, this whole thing doesn't come with a manual. But that's ok. I'm not good at following directions anyway.

So I'm making it up as I go, which basically means protecting my friends. It doesn't matter if that's from rumors that cut deep, magical malfunctions, or the nuances of seasonal politics. I'm going to figure this stuff out, because I finally found where I belong—the one place where being all wrong makes me just right.

I may have started out in the ashes of burned bridges, but love is driving me. The kind I have for my newfound family, my friends, and the pretty pixie who is so much more than my best friend. The best part is that instead of some fairy godmother, I ended up with a kick-ass crow.

Together, we will make monsters into Prince Charmings.

And when the spell wears off, I might actually find my own happily ever after—or die trying.

Pixie Problems is book two in the projected six-book An Accidental Fairy Tale series.

This coming of age story of a group of 17 and 18 year olds continues. Sweet kisses, angry kisses, hugs and snuggles. Fights and battles. Group dynamics! It is a magical academy with so much feeling. Also, not kid safe, this isn't Harry Potter. The dynamics are too complicated and the love between characters is likely to leave the PG-13 realm in the near future as the kids become official adults.

I'm still not in love with Vico Ortiz's voice in this series, maybe because I've read the books multiple times before, but the accents jump around a bit and the character voices get confused. Once you get used to it, it is pretty good, but not my favorite. Others might love it though! Curtis Michael Holland does a pretty decent job with Kier and the other male characters and they sound pretty much like I'd expect.

Anyways, I can't believe I have to wait an entire month until book 3 comes out!

Can't wait for the next book!
