I stubbled onto this book my mistake and I do NOT regret it.
The banter between the main characters are amazing, cute, funny and sexy.
The way he treats her is swoon worthy, I swear I need a man like him in my life.

Some scenes were hard to follow as the timeline was not clear but mostly it was good.

I love Hancock and his determination to be who and what he wants to be, no matter what anyone else thinks, he is gruff, abrupt, even rude, but he owns it and you have to respect him for it. I also love that he is completely upfront with Sway, he knows she is his, he is hers and they WILL be together....forever. He just has to convince her!
Sway is awesome, she has worked hard to be where she is, she takes no sh*t, verbally jousts with the best, sasses and demands respect from the players. She is no different with Hancock, she calls him out, she teases, but she also has steamy, sexy fantasies starring the grumpy player, if only she can make him hers....a little bit of reverse psychology maybe?
They are a fantastic couple and I love that they become the face of baseball, because baseball is their life!

It was an ok story. It wasn't as good as other books I've read from this author. There's something missing from this one.
