Learning a new language is never easy however this collection definitely helps.



Hebrew was never going to be the easiest for a native English speaker but this collection has me well on he way to exceeding my expectations.

Presented in a way that really does help you understand the structure and methods for creating new phrases and not simply re-iterating what you hear.

I highly recommend this method. Due to the way this technique is structured, most of what you've learned sticks in your head and you're able to start constructing sentences after only a small number of lessons have been taken, in fact, it's encouraged in the audio! I'm sure the entire course won't put you anywhere near fluency but i'm confident that it will give you a very good foothold in Hebrew for exploring the language on a higher level independently, whether through advanced courses or books and discussions.

What made the experience of listening to Hebrew Phase 1, Unit 11-15 the most enjoyable?

I love this way of learning Hebrew. I listen to it in the car on my way to and from work.

What was most disappointing about Pimsleur’s story?

It's supremely frustrating not to be able to look back and see what was covered in each chapter.

This should have been included for anyone who looks at the CHAPTERS screen.

It's not possible to find something without having to listen to great swathes of recording until you re-discover what you'd been looking for - which is not ideal when you'd just like to go back and revise something... which you commonly need to when learning a new language.

What about the narrator’s performance did you like?

Male and female.
Authentic native Hebrew speakers - good for developing correct accent.
