I find these books a no stop read

I enjoy the story set in the 1850s detective stories with the added of steam trains

Not His Best

I have all these books, and most are great. Very few are reviewed, which is a shame. I have to say this particular one is not the best of the series. Sounds like a contractual obligation book to me. That being said it is not terrible, he is a good writer. It is just not the most exciting of stories. My advice would be pick an earlier one in the series, they are better.

Not a good read

I didn't like the narrator , I much prefer Sam Dastor , the story while having some good moments didn't really interest me and the end was hurried in my opinion , I wouldn't recommend it..
