About this listen

Thea Slocombe, nee Osborne, is trying to settle into normal, domestic life with Drew and his two children in Broad Campden. But in the course of an attempt to make friends locally, she finds the body of a close neighbour and suddenly feels much less settled and secure.

I enjoyed the corfu tinting adventures of protagonist Thea.
the mystery was very good but I found the end unsatisfactory. it was as if the author got bored and wrapped it up without a satisfactory ending.
but as usual stong characters and lots of wit.

how can this author make a series out of wimpy pathetic boringly incompetent Thea. I got to chapter four and really wished for her to be the murder victim. I couldn't go on with such rubbish and returned the book. It didn't even rate one star but it wouldn't let me give a minus.
