Great writing. Characters beautifully observed.
Have had 100+ books since giving up on radio listening and taking to Audible... and this is in my top 2. Superb narration. Guess this will be snapped up for tv series.

Overrated and lazy
Had high hopes, based on rave reviews. Perhaps they were paid for, or from Piers Morgan’s mates?
The plot wasn’t uninteresting, but there are too many gaps and leaps of imagination. Characters bounce from charismatic hero to loathsome villain and back to charming, in the space of a chapter. Utterly psychotic behaviour from almost every protagonist.
Difficult to be gripped by such an unrealistic story. The final twist being utterly preposterous, yet not the worst aspect of the book.

Best audio performance!!!
I listen to audio books every day and Naomi Sutcliffe is by far the best I’ve heard. I sometimes found myself forgetting that it was just one person doing all the characters voices. Just wonderful!!!
story is fantastic and ending not what you will expect! narration was really wonderful!
what a great all around experienced!
