Summary

Skip Heitzig teaches through a series of messages on the life of Paul. Paul the Apostle stands out as one of history's greatest figures, towering above most everyone else, with the exception of his own Master, the Lord Jesus Christ. We'll take a peek into his unique background - a mix of both Jewish and Greco-Roman nurturing. Let's see how God used this distinctive individual as one of His finest tools.

Bringing the the Gospel & Paul's story to Life!

I've had this book for years but never bothered to listen. I thought it would be a bit dull. Was I wrong. I've read Acts & Epistles before but this book places timelines between verses. Heitzig got me to think about Paul and put myself in his shoes. it helped me to better understand scripture, the surrounding conditions of the cities & various responses from hearers. Most importantly it got me to self reflect and check my own ways to see how I measured up to what God requires of me. btw, don't know where Heitzig finds his jokes before each chapter, but I had a lot of laughs as well. Great to see a man of God who can spread the good news - with the right mix of humor and seriousness. Looking forward to the next Heitzig audio. hope it will be just as good.

Great Study!

Great study on the New Testament. Author/narrator is very dynamic and provides historical background and context.
