Pretty weak story line. Characters had very dated attitudes, not surprising I suppose, as the book was first published in the eighties. Two main protagonists not really likable. It was difficult to know which character you were hearing as the narrator didn't really pause when moving from one person's thoughts or dialogue to another. My first disappointing Nora Roberts book.

I've just listened to it and can't remember the heroines name, just that she is a wimp who fainted when she came across a garter snake. she needs a man to rescue her all the time
when Nora Roberts writes these quick little novellas they are generally tedious and the story line lacks grit as do the characters
