Summary

After another scandal sends me packing to play hockey in Philadelphia, my new agent wants me to clean up my act. Charlotte says I party harder than I play. And she's right.

So, she offers to help me get my life and career back on track if I move in with her. I thought I could make it through one week without wanting my agent. But I was wrong.

As we grow closer, we push the limits and test her rule about dating clients. To keep Charlotte from losing her job, we have to keep our relationship a secret. But can our love survive once it turns into my next scandal?

Contains mature themes.

Really enjoyed

First of all, I love Maxine Mitchell narration. Hands down (even though Joe Arden is great) Maxine could have done the whole book and I would have loved it.

I really enjoyed the story thought the chemistry and flow was great. Glad this book was recommended to me as I will be continuing the series

I love a great story

Hockey romance, I can’t turn them down. I have no clue why because I live in South Mississippi and we lost our hockey team. So, after this first book in the series, I am really looking forward to the next. A really sweet story!

Fun sports romance

This is the first book I've read/listened to in this series and I enjoyed it. I tend to like the bad boy redemption kind of story so this worked out well for me. Reformed Alex was so sweet and I really liked Coach/Charlotte's strength. I liked their banter too and it was fun to see the set up for the rest of the characters in this series. There was a generally light use of sports terms so the sport itself was in the background (Coach is a sports agent and of course, Alex is a hockey player).

Joe and Maxine are fantastic narrators and elevated the story. I've listened to their narrations before and as always, they did a great ob bringing the story to life.

Short and sweet!!

Very sweet listen. I love the way she helped him overcome his illness and in turn she was really helping herself. The narration was pretty good not a big fan of Maxine but she didn't ruin it for me..
