Summary

Shelby County is home to some of the finset horseflesh and bluest blood in Kentucky. With its rural beauty and tranquil lifestyle, it is easy to see why the locals call it Paradise County. But beneath the serene exterior lies a dark underside, and an evil that threatens everyone who touches it.

Is anybody there?

Alex arrives at her father's estate to settle his debts after his apparent suicide. The foreman, previously stand-offish due to her closing the stables, comes to her aid when she is attacked by an intruder; but who is the intruder and how did he get into the house?
