Summary

Moments after archaeologist Elif Mutlu finds a mysterious relic in a tomb in Istanbul, terrorists kidnap her and slaughter the rest of her team.
Elif's lover, disgraced MI6 Agent John Savage, races through the city searching for Elif with the help of her brother Orhan, a proud Turkish cop who hates foreigners.

Exciting and fascinating
I had already read this book and loved it but listening to the audiobook really bought it to life. So exciting and also interesting History, terror and a bit of romance in the wonderful city of Istanbul What more could you want?

Fast paced and good historical detail
Exciting story with a great mix of current technology and terrorist threat based around historical detail of myth and mystery. Very good book.

Exciting thriller from this brilliant author.
I loved this book that kept me captivated from start to finish. The audio version is brought fantastically to life by one of the best narrators I have listened to.
An exciting book and I particularly liked the ending.

Loved the narration of Joff Manning, he kept me on the edge of my seat. Perfect.
This book is fast paced, exciting, suspenseful. John Savage must put his past behind him, to stop the attacks, in Istanbul. He finds himself in a race to stop the biggest terrorist attack ever. While trying to save his ex partner archaeologist Elif who has been kidnapped. The past and future play along side each other.
