About this listen

Willa Knight: The saviour of both worlds, or the destruction of everything?

Sometimes history lies, and the tales of Minatsol and Topia are no different. Since the birth of Topia, Staviti has woven a web of deceit around the truth of Creation, striving only to maintain his power while destroying anything that gets in his way. Now, Willa and the Abcurses are determined to strip back the layers, to uncover the truth, and to understand the true nature of the two worlds before it's too late. The only problem?

Any wrong step in their quest to restore balance might have terrible repercussions. Every single being—living or dead—might have to pay the price.

HEA ending, but not easily obtained. They went through a lot and I'm happy with the outcome. There were ends tied up, some okay smex, a ton of running and a more serious less lol feel. and it all fit together well for this book and the end of the series.

The series as a whole was a fun read. I expected more darkness and angst, and I was happily surprised by the easy read, laugh-out-loud humour and detailed world.

I read this as an audiobook, sadly the audio version did not add to the book like it could. The narrator couldn't seem to keep the other character voices straight or do voices that didn't sound comically rough. That may not make sense, but some female narrators can do male voices so well that it's a surprise when the male narrator does their bit and it's not as good.

I loved the epilogue but kinda wished it was longer. As for the storyline, it was fine and at times funny but it dragged in places and just felt like filler.

Great end to the series
