This was such an enjoyable reading experience. Lilah’s pain was palpable but despite is all, her strength and compassion shone through. She endured despite the cruelty of her world and it was heartbreaking to watch her future burn away. Cannot recommend this first part of the duet enough, just make sure you have tissues.

Oh, it hurts! Man, this hurts! Oh the tears, that ending broke my heart! Oh Lila, strong resilient broken beautiful fierce sassy big broken heart, Lila.

An omegaverse, RH, MM, Alphaholes. Multiple POVs, FMC is Lila and the MMCs are Atlas, Hunter, Jet, Fin and Orion.... all characters well built and broken in their own ways, but right now only two of them are in my good graces or I forgive book, the rest can get in that gutter and think about their F!#%Up!!! and F%#kOFF!!

I kept brushing past this, but I actually really enjoyed it and the second part too.
Nicely written and the performance is good too.

Got very irritated at some point of the book where I had to pause it to let some frustration out before pressing play again. Stubborn characters that put themselves in situations where they just needed to use a few words and everything would solve problems easier, which isn't my thing.
But the rest of the book was amazing, the way Clay was dealt with in the end was soo satisfying!
And Orion is my favorite character, a spicy little applepie marshmallow! ❤️ <3

I enjoyed this first book in the Pack Darling series. A young woman, sold by her mother, and bullied by peers, is coerced into a pack. This pack already has an omega, and resen her presence, making her live in the basement.

Turns out, she is their dates mate, hiwever, as after saving there chosen omega twice, and misynderstandings, Lila ends up in hospural. Is it too late for the Pack to make amends?

Very entertaining read.
