Ivan the hitman is out to protect club owner Katie after seeing who were the Mafia's collector & he couldn't see her be threatened in the least if the protection money was late as. The collector would kill without order whilst Ivan 'only' kills when he's told to. What a gentleman. No really even after bribing Katie to be his 'kept woman with benefits' .
Though there's only a couple of areas of Where we see violence, but that was towards the off the book. It was a leisurely story of 2 different sides of a coin getting to know each other, becoming friends I'd say & definitely WITH benefits 😉
And it ends after the extreme with a loving HEA at the end of the year. Bliss
