Totally believable plot
I really enjoyed this well written book. Like others I found I had to change listening speed but it didn’t detract from the great storyline .

Easy listening
As expected, this book is easy listening, a bit laboured in the middle, a little twist at the end. Ok overall. Not something I'd listen to again, but it did the trick on this hot summer's day off.

Good old Jane Fallon
I found Maddy’s voice annoying and infantile but other than that I loved it! The point of the twist is nice and makes you think about social media and trolling.

Slow
I found the audio off putting , one faster than the other and irritating.
The story for me was too slow in places but picked up nearer the end .

Very enjoyable.
Great story, kept me hooked so I finished the book quite quickly. Others have mentioned the difference in speed of narration and I found this, too; one was "normal" speed and the other was significantly slower which I perceive as a production issue as were a couple of mispronunciations . However this didn't detract from my enjoyment.

Not her best
I have loved all of Jane’s previous books but this one didn’t grip me like the others. The story didn’t take off. I wasn’t gripped by it.
I found the narration (as mentioned in other reviews) quite annoying. The voice of Iris was read very quickly and Maddie was a bit too sickly sweet
Would I recommend…. Probably not. Sorry.
