I picked this book on a whim and when I realised the main theme I nearly sent it back, but I stuck with it and so glad I did. The story was full of twists and turns and could almost be described as a modern fairytale for adults, full of warnings and foreboding. I really felt empathy for the main character who made me laugh and cry in equal measure, Brilliantly written, I would strongly recommend.

Brilliant but harrowing! Not for the faint hearted!

Gripped me to the end with a superb finish. An absolute must read with an essential message about the sky nature of domestic abuse.

Fantastic and compelling a must read!

It was a great book for three quarters of it, then became far fetched. While well written it dragged in places and became a struggle to finish. The narrator did a good job though her natural Yorkshire accent shone through every character.

Took a good story too far .

Can be a hard listen due to the detailed explanation of domestic violence and abuse however how this book has been written is beautiful. As a survivor myself I found myself at times reflecting at my own incredible journey and by the end felt the same self love and courage as Freya

Wow
