About this listen

His past holds family he must protect.

Her present is full of promise and hope and love.

But their future is ready to be seized.

Three strands of time, Magnus has one priority — keep it all from unraveling.

Magnus said, “There are always the same stars, mo reul-iuil.”

“Always.”

Then I added, “And way over there, past the horizon, beyond what you can see, is a castle. It’s called Kilchurn, and a boy was born there. He grew up in the shadows of a mountain named Ben Cruachan.” I glanced at him from the corner of my eye.

He smiled, staring out across the lake. “Och, say it once more.”

“Ben Cruachan, my love. We are together staring out on the horizon of our worlds at the point in the distance where your time entangles mine and your home meets my own. And just inside this house lies your son, sweetly sleeping, the past, present, and future...."

Diana writes in a way that you can really picture their lives both in the 18th and 21st century. The minor details that’s like a close friend recalling their day but with all this exciting drama, it’s enthralling. I have read all this series but relive it, listening while walking to work and doing some work about the house.
Start at the beginning of this series and enjoy the ride!
Diana thank you for your wonderful imagination and gift of writing. The narration is great, the Scottish accent from Kiera is not accurate but it’s told from Kaitlyn’s American perspective and totally fits. Shane’s Scottish accent is totally believable but then he is portraying Scottish Magnus. I giggle when I hear Shane narrating his breathless female voices - great work by both Narraters. And that’s from a Scottish lass, aye! Keep going x

18th and 21st century living their lives.
