Editor reviews

With a voice straight out of central casting, this is the real deal. Years of Pat Cooper's classic stand-up routines come together on this audiobook, from the shenanigans of Our Hero to More Saucy Stories. Although newer fans might know him from Howard Stern, Cooper's hilarious riffs on his Italian-American heritage were a mainstay of the comedy circuit for years. Although his humor might sometimes seem brash and acerbic, it's clear he remembers his roots with real tenderness. The live audience's laughter can seem shrill at times, but the notes and introductions from Cooper are a welcome addition.
