These stories are so reminiscent of my mum’s childhood (she was born in 1920) in S.W. London, Streatham and later Tooting.
Lovely to listen to, well read and enjoyable.

Annie Aldington deserves an Oscar 🙂. She brings this brilliantly written story of the Cockney Adams family to life. This is the 2nd book in the series. I missed the first one so I recommend readers to read that one first. I can’t wait to read the next one. This is right up there with the story of the Castle family in the Dover war series. Wonderful.
