About this listen

Award-winning author William Kent Krueger has gained an immense fan base for his Cork O’Connor series. In Ordinary Grace, Krueger looks back to 1961 to tell the story of Frank Drum, a boy on the cusp of manhood. A typical 13-year-old with a strong, loving family, Frank is devastated when a tragedy forces him to face the unthinkable - and to take on a maturity beyond his years.

DON'T just 'flip through' this book - it's not that kind of read.

Take your time - if you're unsure then re-read. Consider EVERY chapter - even the one called 'Credits', at the end!!!!!

I really loved this. Good story well narrated. Really engaging narrator and well drawn characters. I think if you enjoyed 'Crawdads' you'll like this as it's in a similar vein.

Just loved this book from the moment I started listening to the reader. A mystery but at the same time a story of how circumstances can affect the lives of so many individuals and families. This was a freebie and one of the best books I have listened to for a long time.

Fabulous story and narration
