About this listen
Joshua Jackson returns as FBI psychic Nate Russo in Oracle 3: Murder at the Grandview. When a reunion of longtime friends at an isolated island hotel ends in tragedy, Nate must rely on his terrible gifts and killer instincts to unravel the truth—was it an accident or cold-blooded murder? Great story

Joshua Jackson is an incredible narrator and soon I forgot about this and got wrapped up in the story.
The note in the end made it all clear.
Different but worth it

Firstly I like to listen to a range of Audible content whilst about my everyday tasks - so sample all sorts of content, some makes it but a few minutes others I want to carry on with - the audio version of a page turner - this was somewhere in between
A novel (as in new) genre for me - FBI / horror crossover - if a little trope-ish it’s curiously compelling - almost like the desire to go back for another donut even though you might be full…
Starting at book 3, I might be a bit disadvantaged but characters were fleshed out well but without hurry so if I didn’t known this wasn’t a standalone book I’d really have been none the wiser - kudos to the author for that consideration.
With reference to the author(s) this was started by the creator of the series who sadly died before its completion - his friend picked up and dedicated the complete work to the original author - I found no disparities in style or language, so a job really well done.
If you fancy a book a little more on the dark side with some very much after dark stylings, give this a try :) you’ll never think of nutcracker soldiers in the same way again.
Strangely compelling - novel FBI / Horror crossover
