Look, I adore the series, the character and the writing. I could listen to this storytelling all day long. I just felt like I spent a lot of the time reading this waiting - rushing through and wanting to get to ‘the good bits’. There was a lot of build up for me and the ending just seemed to… tail off. As if it quickly needed written and finished! Leaving me feeling a bit ‘… is this it?!?’ Maybe my expectations were too high but the ending felt rushed, and there didn’t seem to be the same rhythm to the other 2. Waiting another 2 years for the next one to come out feels long… especially with that ending.
