About this listen

The complete soundtracks of the third and fourth series of the award-winning comedy show – plus Christmas specials

First broadcast in 1981, Only Fools and Horses soon became a firm favourite with viewers, running for 22 years and 64 episodes and attracting record-breaking audiences. It received myriad awards, including several BAFTAs, and in 2022 it was named the nation’s best-loved TV programme of all time.

In these pukka episodes, you can relive all the best moments from Series 3 and 4, as Rodney tries to go it alone, Del goes into the antiques business, a fishing trip to Cornwall takes a turn for the worse, and the Trotters embark on a decorating venture – only to find that they get the bird. And as the brothers try to cope with Grandad's death, a new era begins with the arrival of their long-lost, seafaring Uncle Albert…

Also featured are two Christmas specials – ‘Thicker than Water’, in which a Christmas visitor throws the Trotter household into confusion, and ‘To Hull and Back’, which finds the family taking to the ocean on another money-making adventure.

Created and written by John Sullivan, these classic comedy capers star David Jason as Del Boy, Nicholas Lyndhurst as Rodney, Lennard Pearce as Grandad and Buster Merryfield as Uncle Albert.
