About this listen

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury comes One Tuesday Morning, a heartrending, faith-anchored tale of memory, heroism, and second chances set against the tragedy of 9/11.

When Jake Bryan, a devoted New York City firefighter, awakens after the collapse of the Twin Towers with no memory of his life, one woman refuses to give up on him. Jamie Bryan sits at his bedside and slowly helps him rebuild the life they shared--daughter Sierra, the comforts of home, and the faith Jamie has quietly carried. But restoring Jake's past means guiding him back to the very thing Jamie never fully understood: a living faith that can change everything.

Tender, solemn, and ultimately redemptive, One Tuesday Morning commemorates the courage and sacrifice of that day while offering a moving portrait of love, loss, and God's faithfulness.

Begin the bestselling 9/11 Series with One Tuesday Morning and discover why readers return again and again to Karen Kingsbury's powerful stories of hope. Perfect for book clubs and readers of inspirational contemporary romance, One Tuesday Morning includes discussion questions to spark meaningful conversation.

I enjoyed this audiobook yes it is a bit far fetched in a sense hut for Christian fiction it was an excellent example of the genre. I enjoyed the multi cast narration and think it added to the overall performance and enjoyment

Moving Inspiring Story

I had not read any reviews before buying this and found it after looking for something inspirational . It started off ok and I liked the idea of looking at the events of 9/11 from a personal and family perspective. Then we got to the God part of the book and I realised this was Christian literature. I have my own beliefs about faith, God and life and although I do believe in a higher power, I couldn't relate to the Christian beliefs of the characters in the book. I also struggled with the plot, what are the chances of that happening! It took me a while to resume listening again but decided to suspend my disbelief and listen to it all the way through. I started to get a little more empathy for the characters as the book developed and did eventually feel the book was ok but wouldn't buy the sequel.

not what I was expecting

I was really eager to listen to this because of the significance and impact of 9/11. Instead, I had so much religion shoved down my throat that I wanted to throw up. Cannot even finish this. Its condescending towards those of us who are not religious, the usual rubbish about how we're lost etc.
