Summary
An apparently happy marriage. A beautiful son. A lovely home. So what makes Emily Coleman wake up one morning and walk right out of her life? How will she survive? And what is the date that looms, threatening to force her to confront her past? No-one has ever guessed her secret. Will you? Tina Seskis's One Step Too Far is an absolutely unputdownable story of secrets and heartbreak.

Disappointed!
Based upon the description, I expected to enjoy this book. The reviews, together with the early chapters confirmed this expectation. The premise and the back story are interesting, the characters reasonably fleshed-out. Each time something new was introduced, I sensed that the story was about to really get going. However, a little less that 2/3rds in and it has remained rather bland. Sadly, I have lost interest and will return it. Too many books, too little time.

Absorbing from beginning to end!
This story had so many twists and turns but nothing detracted from the sad and painful journey of Emily/Kat. Trying to start again after such pain is a familiar theme and this ultimately heartwarming ending was both a relief and satisfying. Excellent!

all it takes is a seconds lack of concentration
Losing Daniel affects his parents in different ways. Sad and tragic, you'll need tissues for this one.

Enjoyable
I love this story - I like the characters and the twist at the end.
However, I do wish it had gone a bit more in to depth instead of repeating 'feelings'.
I felt it was a little repetitive regarding how she feels all the time.
I would rather of heard more about Angels background and her parents etc.
Though, all in all - I really enjoyed the story.
Particularly the narrators - they are perfect! I will look out for others they have narrated!

Not my cup of tea
I’m sure this book will be great for some- it had twists and surprises, and wasn’t badly plotted. But I hated it. I’ve finished it feeling like I’ve had my insides scooped out. I wasn’t that keen on the protagonist for a lot of the book, and I felt like her sister Caroline was given the same raw deal by the author as by her family. Her story didn’t get the resolution it deserved and no one seemed to come to an understanding of her. Has put me off reading other books by her.

An ok read
Not brilliant but okay. A little too sentimental for my taste, and certainly not as good as ‘Girl on a Train ‘ to which it was compared but entertaining enough. I did feel if was over described and too slow but it filled a couple of hours and I would read something else by thus author.
