About this listen
Libby helps a stranger, and transforms her life in the process.
Libby and her husband Jason have moved back to his hometown to turn the family B&B into a boutique hotel. They have left London behind and all the memories - good and bad - that went with it.
The injured woman Libby finds lying in the remote country road has lost her memory. She doesn't know why she came to be there, and no one seems to be looking for her.
When Libby offers to take her in, this one small act of kindness sets in motion a chain of events that will change many people's lives . . .

What does Lucy Price-Lewis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Her narration was excellent. Unfortunately, the editing was not as good. There were repeated lines a few times and gaps that were too long. However, it was not bad enough to spoil the listening experience for me because the book and narrator were both excellent.Any additional comments?
I feared this might be a bit light and fluffy for me (in the way of books about cup cake cafes and people leaving the city to run small hotels). I thought I'd try it though because I really enjoyed the author's previous book 'A Hundred Pieces of Me'. I'm so glad I did as its a really great book. The characters are rich and engaging. There are several interesting threads running throughout, it pops along at a pace and there is even a slightly sinister line of suspense. I enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it to others.Gorgeous, feel good book, intelligently written!

I would have liked it to continue with all the happy ever afters, even though I knew the outcome.
