While I didn’t enjoy this as much as the first I read by this author, the female narrator is perfect and really made it come to life, it’s not a gripping story but it’s nice and really quite heartwarming as it gets further in and to the end. I wasn’t keen on the overall plot of a self coupling female planning to marry herself with a coming of age at a mere 30, it felt silly, but maybe I’m just too older and cynical to relate haha, but I stuck with it as the female narrator is is able to bring so much feeling and emotion with her tone, she brought it to another level, as the story took more form though it improved and overall it was enjoyable. Probably a good holiday chick lit choice.
