Good story and well written as you’d expect from Veronica Henry. If I’m honest, I didn’t like it nearly as much as her previous novels. The characters, although likeable, felt a little too privileged at times which spoilt it for me a bit and I did inwardly sign at times! I suppose anyone who owns a chateau would be though! If I could would have given it 3.5 stars. Overall a light listen but not one I’d listen to again.

I loved this book. I always enjoy Veronica Henry's books but I think this has been my favourite so far.
I loved the characters. I loved the way the story was set in both the past and present day. I found myself wanting to listen to this book at every opportunity.
