About this listen

Exposes vastly underexplored topics compared to other media reports and books on Jeffrey Epstein. How did Jeffrey Epstein manage to evade justice for decades? Who enabled him and why? Why were legal officials told that Epstein “belonged to intelligence” and to back off during his first arrest in the mid-2000s?

Volume one of One Nation Under Blackmail traces the origin of the network behind Jeffrey Epstein and his associates to the merging of organized crime and intelligence networks during World War II, following their most notable activities through the decades. Various scandals, acts of corruption, and other crimes throughout the last several decades of American history, many involving sex blackmail, can be traced back to these same networks, which have subverted and taken control of many of America's most important institutions for their benefit, and to the detriment of the public.

The research that goes into Whitney Webbs writing is incredible. Places her head at very risk places but has dodged being a deep state statistic . Whitney and James Corbett are currently two of the best all side journalists.

Well researched.

The content is an important record of the real workings of the world of power over the past century or so.
The narrator makes some irksome pronunciation mistakes for names and words that should be common knowledge for someone in that line of work, but otherwise a great listen!

Excellent and important work

The sheer density of this book, which is a huge information dump, leaves you in no doubt (if you hadn't already figured it out) that everything you have been told about the society you live in BY the society you live in, is at best misinformed, and at worst an elaborate psy-op designed to make YOU follow the law, while those higher up the pyramid break it continually and with impunity. And she hasn't even got to Epstein yet.

My only question at the moment is whether or not to listen to this again, or dive into volume 2.

Captivating, Eye Opening and Troubling.

Everybody in the world needs to know the information revealed in this book. It's THAT monumental.... However, I don't think this particular book will help achieve that goal. It takes epic amounts of concentration to follow along, as the writer's style is very dry, flat, overly wordy and monotonous. The stories are not told in an engaging or emotive way & therefore, they fail to fully draw the reader in. This was not helped by the choice of narrator, who was very robotic (like an A.I generated voice.) I found the subject matter truly compelling & critically important....yet I struggled not to drift off elsewhere in my mind. I had to rewind a lot to fully absorb everything.

I can only hope that some of the most shocking facts uncovered here, find their way into a blockbuster drama series (like Snowfall for example) so that the wider public become aware of them. All of these stories are HUMAN stories after all (with MASSIVE global implications.) And this shocking level of evil & corruption won't be rooted out, unless PEOPLE ARE MADE TO CARE.

Such an important book......

I've ordered the paper back versions, and have received volume II, but still waiting for Volume I. So this was a brilliant timely appearance on Audible. Whitney is a World class investigative journalist, and her oratory style is so engaging. I'm hooked and now going to get my head down into Volume II.

What a fantastic researcher and orator: dynamite!!
