Summary

December 1943. When Zachary Flynn suggested that he and Amity Belmont enlist together, he never dreamed the recruiters would reject him because of his flat feet. Now, Amity’s off fighting the war, and he could kick himself for letting his bruised ego get in the way of telling her his true feelings. a lovely holiday romance

i got this audiobook at my request via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.

This short holiday story is a WW2 Romance with Sergeant Amity Belmont sent home early from her Women’s Army Corps unit to tell Zachary Flynn that he's the man she wants to spend her future with after the war is over before she regrets it, especially since the busy bodies back home keep trying to get him married off! The author did an excellent job with the characters. I really enjoyed listening to these two falling in love. Sweet story with an enjoyable narration.
