I love wolves. I love the areas of the US where they are found. I loved this account of being amongst wolves. Phillipa writes well, and narrates well. Totally enjoyable. Wish it was longer!

Its not easy allowing groups you don't agree with to have their say but I applaud this author for doing so, as it shows great integrity. Though I must admit most of those trophy hunter sound like entitled children.

I had high hopes for this title but found it didn't quite come together. I have no doubt that the adventure in Wyoming was exhilarating, however this doesn't really come across very well. The plot is plodding and at times disjointed, lacking emotional depth or a sense of excitement for the listener. The narration was partly to blame for this, often sounding disinterested and lethargic, even at times when the rest is clearly begging to be infused with a sense of awe. Overall, I think I might have enjoyed this more as a text rather than an audiobook but I fear I would probably still have come away with a sense of disappointment.
