Story
Noah Becker is nothing but trouble. That's what Mama told me when I was a kid, kicking his pew in church and giggling at the games we'd play. It's what the town said when his father died and the Becker brothers went wild. And it's on repeat in my mind the day I walk into the whiskey distillery where he works to buy a wedding gift for my fiancé.

The plan is simple: a brand-new, hot, preferably funny, definitely single male will fill one of those seats for every Bears game at Soldier Field. And I'll fill the other. I can't think of a better way to use the season passes I'd bought for my ex-husband. I am a woman of plans, and this one's foolproof. Until Zach Bowen offers to be my practice round.

Story
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother. And that his best friend has a crush on me. And that I just moved in with them. Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?

Sometimes I need an escape from the demands, the puck bunnies, and the notoriety that come with being an NHL team captain. I just want to be a normal guy for a few weeks. So when I leave Chicago for some peace and quiet, the last thing I expect is for a gorgeous woman to literally fall into my lap on a flight to Alaska. Even better, she has absolutely no idea who I am.

Summary
The epic finale of the Becker Brothers series. Each book can be listened to as a stand-alone.
It's a man's world.
When I declared sports medicine as my major and every man narrowed their eyes, that saying proved true. It was true when my ex-husband decided I'd give up my career when our daughter was born. And again when I divorced the Chief of Police in our small town, and he made it painfully clear that I could leave him, but I would never be free.
Landing the job as the new athletic trainer for Stratford's high school team is my chance to start over. And walking into a male-dominated sport and staff, I'm ready for the challenge.
I'm not ready for Jordan Becker.
The head coach of our championship winning team is a Herculean force of nature - as severe as he is determined. His icy blue eyes and permanent scowl drive the women in this town mad, and his quiet power and undeniable command conjure respect from every man.
When I join his team, I expect the doubt and anticipate the fight from him. And I get them both.
I don't expect to form a friendship.
And I never expect to fall for him.
My breath catches when those cool eyes fall to my lips. My body comes alive when his is near. And as those lines begin to blur, every warning bell sounds.
My job, my reputation are on the line.
And my ex is around every corner, waiting to remind me of his power.
It's a man's world, and if I want to survive, I can never fall in love with Jordan Becker.
Even if he falls in love with me first.

insulting
shame on the producer! how is it that a character growing up in rural TN - since he was a baby! - has a decidedly urban and ethnic accent?! the narrator was able to carry off other accents, so why this choice? distracting and insulting! accents are regional, not racial. wake up!

Glad I didn’t ditch it at chapter 3 as planned
I could NOT get past the narration of Jordan, I understand that he is a black man but also knowing he was raised in a very prominent white town by a white family UG.... the narration almost had me turn it off. Glad I stayed the course even if I skipped large portions of the story to finally find out what happened to John Becker.

What an incredible ending to an amazing series. Kandi never fails to impress me with her writing skills but the narration was out of the park and truly brought the story to life. stunning 5 starts!!

Great ending to the series
This series was my first read/listen from this author. I really enjoyed the heart she put into every character. As much as I enjoyed the story, I was not a fan of the male narrator in this last book. I didn't feel the connection as well and was confussed a couple of times as to which character was speaking. overall, I did like this book and I can't wait to listen to more from this author.

Final book in the series and also great
I really enjoyed listening to every book in this series and this one was no different. This follows the final brother, the adopted brother, Jordan, the football coach and Sydney, the newly divorced trainer. This book was longer than the others because it had to tie up all the stories, including the overarching bit about their father's suspicious death. It was a well done story and answered all the questions neatly and left a smile on my face. I really loved Jordan and Sydney and felt a lot of empathy for both characters, as well as Sydney's daughter, Paige (Who was so adorable!!) We also got to revisit all the other characters and their loves and overall, this book ended with my heart full. I listened to all the books via audible and all the books were great. This book had new to me narrators and still, it was great. The voices felt authentic- Jae Delane and DeVante Johnson both did fantastic playing their characters and others but also, just drawing me into the story. I really enjoyed their narration.

5 beautiful stars.
Beautifully written, sucks me in right from page one. This book has everything, greed, jealousy, betrayal, family togetherness and love. I’m sad to see that this is the last book about the Becker Boys, I enjoy reading about this amazing family. Perfect end to this beautiful series.

Inclusive
It's not often that I read a book from a Caucasian author and find diversity. I love the representation in this book and the slight reference of social issues as well as woman empowerment. That and the amazing, though slightly predictable, plot line made this series jump to my top 20 list. The predictability wasn't even a bad thing because the journey was so enjoyable. I very rarely take the time to write out reviews so when I do, you know I truly enjoyed it. I'll definitely be checking out other books from this author.
