Amazing!
It’s been a while since I picked up one of K Bromberg's books and reading/listening to this book has reminded me of how incredibly talented she is and how her words can transport me into a fictional world I never want to leave as I read/listen to it. She has the ability to make me feel everything that is going on in a story. She makes the characters come to life. She captures my heart and pulls on my heartstrings!
Spencer is a british playboy F1 racer and Camilla is his boss’ daughter and forbidden fruit….
Where do I start? These two had me laughing and shaking my head. This wasn’t your typical enemies-to-lover romance. They weren’t quite “enemies”, well Spencer wasn’t, he couldn’t help but flirt with Camilla and she wants nothing to do with him… Well, that’s what she keeps trying to tell herself. Who is she kidding? Beneath it all, she’s lying to herself, she can’t help but want him, and fall for him. As the book progresses, these two continue to get closer and Camilla starts to see that there are more sides to Spencer that first meets the eye. He’s not just a playboy racer. He is caring, he’s protective and he has a heart. However, Camilla has a past that is still haunting her and so does Spencer… Will these two be able to heal from the tragedies of their pasts and be together or will it all fall apart?
These two took hold of my heart from the beginning with their banter, their chemistry and their undeniable attraction to each other and I wanted nothing more to see them get there happily ever after!
This book was incredible. It had the right mixture of everything. It was a forbidden/secret, close proximity, enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, sports romance that had my heart from the very beginning! It was emotional yet fun, and both addictive and all-consuming to read! I absolutely loved it and I can’t wait for book two in the series to release!
This is most definitely a 5 STAR!!

Amazing dual narration from Shane East and Carly Robins. Who did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life.
Camilla has been working for the family olive oil business, but her father wants her to come work at Moretti Motorsports so he could groom her to take over the business. But she has good reason for not wanting. With her father has health issues, so she could not say no. Using her marketing degree to work and breathe new life into the business. When a driver is injured, they picked up someone from Formula 2 to fill in. Spencer Riggs has racing in his blood and dreams of following his father’s footsteps, a former Formula 1 race car driver. His dream comes true when he gets the call that he is in. When he and Camilla met she lets him know how much of a jerk he is. The dialogue and banter between them was brilliant. The book has drama, emotions, and steamy romance.

Incredible!!
This book is incredible!! I didn't know I liked F1 until reading this, now I need more!!
I love Riggs and Cami! This story is full of heartache and past trauma that could be triggering so make sure you check out any trigger warnings. But the way the author writes this is just amazing.
The chemistry between the characters is 🔥🔥🔥
I'm off to go check out her other books because I absolutely love this one and January can't come quick enough for book 2!
The audio narrators do an amazing job with this one ❤️

K. Bromberg pens another winning novel, a sports romance, an exciting start to an amazing new Formula 1 car racing series. This first book of the series is Camilla Moretti and Spencer Riggs’ story and wow what a story it is. I knew it was going to be something special from the prologue alone, a prologue that moved me like no other. It hooked me right in, grabbing my attention and captivating it straight to the end. Camilla has been working for the family olive oil business, but her father wants her to come work at Moretti Motorsports so he could groom her to take over the business. She practically grew up there and used to love being there, but for reasons she kept for herself, she left to work at their other business instead. She had no attentions of returning, but her father was getting older and had some health issues, so she could not say no. He wants her to put her marketing degree to work and breathe new life into the business. When one of their drivers was injured, they picked up someone from Formula 2 to fill in while he recovered. Spencer Riggs has racing in his blood and dreams of following his father’s footsteps, a former Formula 1 race car driver. His dream comes true when he gets the call that he is in, it may be temporary but he will prove himself once he is there. Holy moly, talk about self assured arrogance, that described Riggs to a tee. He and Camilla had a chance encounter, one that did not turn out well for Camilla, but she let him know how much of a jerk he was. They did not exchange information then, so when he sees her on his first day at Moretti Motorsports he had not known who she was and of course he runs his mouth. She didn’t correct him, so it surprised him who she really was, not that it mattered, since he was just so full of himself. I did not care for Riggs in the beginning, but he grew on me and before you know it, you are falling for him, just as Camilla does. It was great to watch their relationship grow, the dialogue and banter between them was brilliant. The story's depth and character complexity are impressive. The writing, plot, and world-building are excellent and it has the perfect balance of drama, emotions, and steamy romance. K. Bromberg, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Shane East and Carly Robins did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. They understood the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited that character and was believable in every role they played. Robins aced it as Camilla, grasping every aspect of her personality, from her vulnerabilities to her strength and badassery. East was just as amazing as for Riggs, playing his role with perfection, arrogance included. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters, accents and all. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Emotional, Funny and Steamy
This is the first book in the Full Throttle Series, a Sports Romance. I loved Riggs and Camilla's story. The story is well written, emotional, funny, steamy, and engaging. The characters are well developed. Shane East and Carly Robbins did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to more in the series.

Spencer & Camilla
Brilliant!! K. Bromberg’s writing style is right up my alley. I loved everything about this audiobook: the broken characters that learn how to mend each other, the camaraderie between racers and the friendships and the two amazing narrators that gave their all for these characters and their story. 12 hours after finishing the audio I’m still thinking about it.

Interesting F1 romance
Really enjoyed the storyline and felt that parts were unique considering many people go for the bad boy racer/PR and marketing trope. My only critique is that the female narrator had a terrible British accent so it ruined the whole listening experience for me.

Not for me
Story: 2 ⭐️
Steam: 3 🔥 light smut

Unfortunately, this book was a miss for me. I have enjoyed work from this author in the past so I will read her again but I just didn’t love this.
I really did not like Riggs. From the beginning he was just such a jerk and not even in the fun enemies to lovers way. I just never liked him and didn’t really understand why they were together. All be really had going for him was his looks. Also for a while it felt like all he cared about was his job and whenever Cami wasn’t around, he wasn’t even thinking of her and I didn’t like that.
Audiobook Performance: While both narrators did an amazing job, I was a little confused about the female narration choice. The character is described as having an American mother and an Italian father. She was raised between the UK and Italy. So why does she have an American accent? She was never in America. That didn’t make sense to me.
