The start of this book, when it's revealed nothing is over and there's a curse in play, was a bit of a shock! It broke my heart a little.😢

I thought Slate's temper was mostly well controlled throughout this book, considering. There are some truly heart hurting moments slipped in throughout the entire book as well, as each trial takes its toll on others and the true diwallers.😭 The plague scenes were creepy as heck, be warned.🕷

The narrators again did a good job. The female did better at both sexes than the male, but they kept the story really engaging for me.👏

The shock of what had truly gone on in the past is finally revealed.😳 It's explosive and emotive. The twists and turns are amazing and dizzying. I hope you enjoy finding out if magic and the people lost are revived, as much as I did.😍
